When is check-in/check-out time?
Standard check-in at our boutique River North hotel is 3pm. Check-out is noon. If you need an earlier check-in, give us a call the day before your arrival and we’ll look into it for you. If we can’t offer early check-in, we’ll always have someone available to assist you with luggage storage.
Do you offer parking?
Our Chicago River North hotel offers convenient valet parking services for a flat fee of $64 per night for guests driving to the hotel. Your vehicle will be in a secure, covered parking ramp and you will have unlimited in-and-out access at no additional charge. Nearby public garages offer an alternative to our valet services for those not needing in-and-out parking privileges. Rates range from $40 to $50 for a 24-hour period. Self-park lots are not affiliated with the hotel and the rates are subject to change without prior notice.
How much is the nightly service fee and what does it include?
The nightly service fee is $14.95 plus applicable sales tax and includes the following amenities:
Do you allow smoking on property or in your guest rooms?
Our hotel is completely non-smoking. Chicago city ordinance requires that smokers be at least 15 feet from the entryway of the hotel.
Do you have a fitness center?
Yes, our fitness center is open 24 hours a day and was recently renovated to include upgraded cardio machines with LCD screens, new strength training and Pilates equipment, free weights and medicine balls.
Do you have a business center?
Yes, our business center is open 24 hours a day and features four computer stations (one Apple). Password-secured printing services from your guest room is complimentary. Additionally, our front office team is happy to accommodate any fax and photocopy requests. The first ten photocopies are free – each additional page costs 10 cents. The first five pages of your fax (sending or receiving) are free – each additional page costs $1.
Do you have refrigerators and microwaves available for rental?
Each guest room has a mini-refrigerator, for your use and enjoyment. There is a one-time $25 charge for microwave rental during your stay. Please reserve the microwave in advance as supplies are limited.

Do you have a pool?
We do not have a pool on-site. Guests who wish to have access to a pool may visit the nearby East Bank Club (500 N. Kingsbury) for a nominal fee. Passes must be reserved in advance with our concierge through EBC Membership Services. Passes are date specific. Guest must bring room key, photo I.D. and payment to membership services.
Do you have a spa?
We are proud to offer in-room spa services through our partner Windy City Massage. Appointments are available through our concierge service.

Do you provide ADA-compliant accommodations?
Yes. Kinzie Hotel offers both king and queen accessible rooms, showcasing ADA-compliant features such as roll-in showers or tubs with handlebars. To reserve an accessible accommodation, please note your preference when booking the room online or via phone.
What is the best way to get to Kinzie Hotel?
Do you require a credit card to make a reservation?
A valid major credit card is required to avoid forfeiture of booking. In addition to the credit card requirement for reservations, a valid credit card must be presented at check-in.
Do you charge a deposit?
Guests are required to provide a deposit via credit card upon arrival at check-in; the amount on hold is released in full if there are no incidental charges after check-out.
When using a debit card attached to a bank or checking account, funds are immediately frozen for the full expected amount of your room charges, including estimated incidentals of $100 per night. This amount is released by the hotel upon check-out; however, the funds may not be available for approximately 7 to 10 business days, depending on bank policy. If the processing time is of concern, we strongly encourage the use of a credit card or cash for your stay.
Will your rooms allow rollaways or pack and plays?
Our Deluxe Corner King rooms can accommodate one rollaway at a rental fee of $25 per night.
What is the minimum age requirement to check in to a room?
You must be at least 21 years of age to rent a room.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24-hour prior to arrival cancellation policy on most reservations. You must cancel by 4pm the day before arrival to avoid a one-night penalty. On certain group reservations a special cancellation penalty may apply.
What is your early departure policy?
You may change your check-out date until you check into the hotel. There is a one night room and tax penalty for reservations shortened after check-in. On certain group reservations or special discounted rates, a different policy may apply.
Do you have connecting rooms?
We have several sets of connecting rooms on every floor. Connected room types include deluxe king rooms and deluxe two queen rooms. Please note: this is on a request basis only and cannot be guaranteed.
Are pets allowed?
Kinzie Hotel is a pet-friendly hotel, welcoming your canine and feline companions. There is a two-pet limit per room and a nonrefundable $50 fee per stay. We also offer special amenities to all dogs and cats that stay with us. Learn more about our pet-friendly boutique River North hotel.
Do you have pet-free rooms for those with allergies?
One floor is reserved exclusively for our canine and feline guests. All other floors are restricted to pets.
